 Tuck
is a 9 year old purebred Yellow Lab. His previous owner, an elderly man,
passed away and no one was able to care for this wonderful and sweet dog.
Tuck wound up living in a KC area vet clinic and thanks to good timing,
happened to meet one of our rescue volunteers and came to join our group.
Tuck is neutered and current on vaccinations and will be microch ipped
before going to his new
future home. He is very spry and active
for his age and LOVES to play fetch! This handsome white-faced
gentleman is also quite smart and knows many obedience commands, including
sit, shake, sit up, catch and down. We think that he'd rarely been walked on
a leash so we are practicing with him on that, to teach him how to walk
nicely.
 He
seems fine with other large dogs and played well with a few that we've
introduced him to within our group. We are told that he is NOT good with
small dogs however, and he is also NOT used to children and does not seem to
like them. A home with older teenagers may be OK for him, but a home with no
children at all would be ideal. Tuck seems to be housetrained already and
will make a fabulous, easy addition to the right loving family.
