Quincy is an adorable male pup who joined our
group in the summer '08. The people who originally had him believed that he
was blind, but that is definitely not the case. He runs around just fine
with
us
- and the other dogs in our care - and our vets gave him a thorough
examination right away and told us that his eyes are
fine. Maybe he was just a slow learner or a bit
slow to develop!
We estimate Quincy's date of birth to be around 5/20/08, and we were told
that
his
mother was a mixed breed of "part Chow" and the father was a "big black
dog." As you can see, Quincy doesn't look like he'll be a "big black dog!"
He looks more like a Shepherd/Hound/Chow mix, but the only thing we can say
for certain is that he IS indeed a mix!
This guy is super cute, outgoing and friendly. He really enjoys the company
of the other puppies we have for adoption right now, and he's also fine with
older (and bigger) dogs. We estimate that he will be medium-to-large when
full grown, though certainly not huge. He's a pretty "solid" pupster right
now and he has short, easy-to-care-for fur.
If
you'd like to see Quincy in person, please stop by one of our upcoming fall
adoption events - or drop us an email to request an adoption application.
Thanks!
