 Madison,
or "Fatty Maddy" as her friends call her, is a beautiful
purebred yellow lab. She joined our rescue in late April 08 as
quite the "chunky monkey" - meaning she weighed 98 lbs... and
should weigh closer to 80 lbs. We're working with her on a
weight-loss plan that includes a low-cal diet and lots of walks
and exercise.
Madison had found herself on death row at an area city pound,
when one of our volunteers
spotted her sweet face and very nice demeanor. This gorgeous big
girl already knows how to "sit" and "shake" and she walks very
well on a leash. She seems
housetrained and she's now fully vetted and microchipped. We
believe that Madison is around 4 years of age. She seems fine
with other dogs but is unknown with cats. If you have room in
