Blazer

ADOPTED !

Blazer is a purebred Doberman male, born August 2007. Weighing in at a very solid, muscle-bound 85 lbs, this kid is a big loverboy. Very affectionate and friendly, he also seems fine with other dogs. Blazer may be a young adult, but he is all "puppy" at heart. Playful and joyful, he is very much a high-energy guy. He is food-motivated and quite smart, and we're working with him to learn some on-leash manners.

Blazer wants to be WITH his people and be part of the family. He is not a dog who seeks solitude... he is an "on the go" kind of boy who desires a tight bond with his human family. Blazer was previously living in a household with other dogs and children over the age of 6. Cats are unknown.

If you have experienced this breed, you know that the ideal Doberman temperament is stable, confident and fearless. These large, strong dogs are energetic, watchful, determined (stubborn!), loyal, and intelligent, and Blazer seems to exemplify these standards!

Please refer to this helpful web page from the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, to learn more about the breed's temperament:

Adoption fee of $200 helps cover vet and food expenses. Blazer is neutered, HW negative and on monthly preventative, is now current on vaccinations, has been treated for fleas, and microchipped.

** Kansas City "metro" area adoptions ONLY, fully fenced yard required. *
