Billie
Jean (the Dancing Queen) joined Happy Dogs Rescue in June 2006
when a neighbor of one of our volunteers found her as a stray
girl, cruelly dumped in the country and left on a gravel road. We
believe she was born in mid-March '06 so she is now a high-energy
and fun-loving young adult. Billie Jean was adopted by a great
family, but things unfortunately did not work out, so she is back
with us - and she's looking for a fabulous permanent home!

Billie Jean may have some Great Dane *or* Hound in her as well, as
she is definitely a large Black
Lab mixed-breed. She is incredibly sweet and outgoing with people,
and she re ally
enjoys the company of other large (and extra large) dogs. Her
ideal home will be
an active, outdoorsy family who
has at least one other medium, large (or extra large!)
active dog. In her foster home, Billie loves to romp and play with
a huge Lab/Mastiff mix and her other foster "siblings."
Billie Jean is completely
housetrained and she is also crate-trained... and we are working
with her on better leash-manners. We think she is one smart
cookie! Billie Jean the Dancing Queen thinks that she's a lap dog,
so if you're looking for a beautiful big black furry girl to love,
please consider this sweetie.
Fully fenced yard required, NO exceptions. Kansas City "metro"
adoptions only.
