Hi everyone! My name is Baxter and I'm a really
neat guy. I am clearly a mixed-breed large and solid boy, who may be part
Boxer, part English Bulldog, part American Bulldog, and part Romeo Dog. OK,
so I made up that "Romeo" part, but I truly am a LOVERBOY! I like to give
kisses and I think I am a lap dog, even though I weigh almost 70 lbs.
When
I went to the vet for my vaccinations, I tested negative for heartworms and
the vet experts think I am still mostly a puppy. My possible birth day was
in April '06 (but we can't know exactly for sure.) I love to jump around and
play and romp... and I even like the snow! But I sure do prefer being
indoors where it's warm and dry and I have my special blankies to lay on. I
do like other dogs but I've not really
been around cats.
I don't remember my early days in life, but I know I was outside a lot and
wound up being left all alone on a gravel road in a BIG
snowstorm. I just got lucky that I was near some super nice dog rescue
people, who invited me inside and gave me the help I needed.
My life is so much better now! I am now neutered, vaccinated,
microchipped and on monthly heartworm prevention. Now I need a great
family who will really love me, for the REST of my life! Please send
me an email if you are interested, and we can arrange to meet in
person. I need a 6' tall WOOD fence for my safe backyard time to
exercise, etc. because I can (and will) jump/climb anything shorter.
This is for my own safety and is a requirement for me!
