Leo's New Home

"Leo is sooo laid back"

Dearest Michelle,

We are so utterly delighted with Leo. He has adjusted so easily to us and his new surroundings. Thank you for taking such good care of him while he waited for us!

He has his own space (indicated with folded blankets and toys) in our informal sitting room on the main floor, and a duplicate set at the end of our bed upstairs. He loves his spaces. Whenever he comes inside from being out for "pee-pee", he immediately runs to his blanket and sits!

Last night we promenaded the neighborhood, and many of Devi's friends came out to great him. One neighbor said, "Devi would be proud!"

This morning we met with the neighbors out front -- some us have coffee in our front yards, visiting, and watching our dogs while they do their morning duties.

Leo met an Australian Shepard, St. Bernard/Akita mix, and a black Lab. Later in the day he met an American Eskimo and two afghan hounds. He is so very well adjusted, and having a lot of fun meeting new dogs and people!

He has now learned to go and DOWN (was challenging, but he got it) the stairs. Joe and I carefully worked with him, and he so wants to please! We gave his loads of praise and snacks for all his hard work, and he was happy to please us so much!

This afternoon we went to the Plaza. HE IS AMAZING ON THE LEASH AND NATURALLY HEELS! AWESOME BOY! We went to Tiffany and Co, we didn't like it as much as TIVOL Jewelry (we were only window shopping)! HE WAS A HIT ON THE PLAZA. Everyone wanted to know about his breeding, and so many people said they thought it was so great that we got him through a rescue. I shared your name (Happy Dogs Rescue) with many. Perhaps you could send me some cards. I would be happy to hand them out when Leo is doing his PR!

While we chatted with others in TIVOL, Leo lay down and went to sleep.

He is soooooo laid back!

After TIVOL we went to Latte Land for a coffee and basked in the sun, sipped cappuccino's, and Leo collected his accolades!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making it possible to meet him, and having him in our lives!

This coming Saturday Leo will accompany Steph and Joe at a dinner party hosted by some our friends from the country Tibet. Two of the people who will be in attendance will be monks for the Dalai Lama's monastery.

Leo is already stepping into the international circuit! What a jet setter!

Well, we'll stay in touch!

With the fondest of regards and appreciation!

Steph, Joe, and Leo
